Being God’s Heart to this Community
Not everyone can go on distant mission trips. But, we believe that no matter who you are, there is a way for you to get involved in missions. Here are some of the ways you can be a missionary right where you are.

English as a Second Language (ESL)
English as a second language classes are offered to everyone in our community. Our ESL classes are conversation based. We accept students who are beginners and those who are more advanced. More advanced students will be encouraged to participate in our Friendspeak program, which is a one on one conversation program using Bible based materials. English as a Second Language classes are offered weekly either online or in-person. Teachers can help students of all levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. Complete the form below and choose whether you prefer online or in-person tutoring, and we will contact you to help you get started.
Friendspeak classes are available year round.

Least of These
In this city, the capital of the free world, live people who are hungry, who are weary, and who are tired. There are people who need help. Some are fighting to survive on streets just blocks away from the White House and Capitol Building. Least of These DC (LOTDC) recognizes the opportunity here and strives to connect servants willing to help with those seeking it.
We visit friends on the streets of DC every Thursday, come rain, snow, or shine. We’ll deliver food, water, clothing, and special requests we receive. Volunteers take routes through the city covering the areas of Union Station, Chinatown, and McPherson Square.
