Daughters of the King
There are so many challenges facing our teen girls today. The world they will be entering as adults will meet them head on with a full arsenal of Satan's weapons. In all other situations, we spare no expense in preparing our children for the future. We spend countless hours researching colleges. We enlist computer courses, tutors, and homework hotlines to ensure their success in school. We drive unnumbered miles to athletic events in an effort to give them every opportunity to excell in their sport. We'll even drive across town for the right hair cut! It's what good parents are supposed to do, right?
But what about accessing every tool possible for the spiritual warfare they are sure to encounter?
Daughters of the King will give every girl in attendance new insights, new methods, new weapons, to face current cultural challenges to daily Christian living. We are by no means the end-all and be-all of Christian ministries. We are, however, committed to bringing fresh ideas and inspiring words to girls while maintaining God's standards through His word. We are a group of women who truly LIKE teenage girls, and genuinely desire God's divine plan to be manifested through their daily lives. The weekend is a bounty-rich spiritual environment, not to mention a total blast!
So in response to the question, "Why should I bring my daughter?," our answer is this.... Why aren't you already signed up?!!

Who are we and how are we defined in this generation of iPods, cell phones, text messaging, MySpace and Facebook? Technology captures the senses and allows us to express emotions we didn't know we had inside. It is a reflection of our desires, our dreams for the future and sometimes our biggest fears. And, if you listen carefully you might hear a longing for purpose, a fresh start ... and God.
